Top Gear Episode Recommendation

So, last night I found out that the girl I'm dating (probably going to be GF & BF later tonight, but that's another post) hasn't watched a single episode of TG. She knows and respects my passion of all things automotive and would be up for watching it. And she's seen the other BBC stuff (Sherlock, Who, etc.). So, what is a good episode, for someone who has never seen the show, to start with? I've seen them all, but as a huge TG fan and car nut, I might just pick one that's too much. IDK, what do you think?

Botswana or Vietnam. It needs to be one of the specials, and those two are just the best.

Any of their travel episodes are a great start; Botswana, Vietnam, Nile.

Series 15 episode with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz?

Their races are also always entertaining.

Winter sports or the one with the Atom. My overall favorite review was Evo vs STi in season 1 or 2.

Cheap Porsche challenge. Of all the challenges that's the best. Or do the airport vehicle racing series, that was hysterical also.

I started a girlfriend on the polar special, then the Veyron race. She loved it.

My recommendation is to start with the Botswana special. It is a good introduction to their style of humor, and like all the specials is more about the area they are traveling through then the car. Also I challenge you to find anyone that doesn't love Oliver! This episode is what had my GF hooked on the show.

I thought that dating and BF/GF was the same thing. At least in here its the same thing.

I cannot suggest any single episode but the newer episodes tend to very spectacular and earlier are done with quite low budget. Is it a problem if they are presenting new interesting car that aren't so new anymore?

I agree that the Teenager episode is one of the best, and the best cheap car challenge.

The Botswana is the best trip/special (What id do)

The Cameron Dias/Tom Cruise were the most popular guests

I got my girlfriend into Top Gear with the Vietnam road trip special. The first American road trip episode where they drive from Florida to NOLA is pretty awesome too.

The travel specials, they're my wife's favorites. Also, the episodes with Christopher Eccleston, Billie Piper, and David Tennant, since she's seen Doctor Who.

The big travel specials are fun, but don't really show how most of the episodes are, you know? You want her to appreciate the whole series, not just the specials. That being said, Vietnam or Botswana are the best.

You need one of the "normal" episodes. Building motor homes, building amphibious cars, the teenager one from last season, racing airport vehicles, racing taxis.
